The Leaderless Resistance

Where is all this headed? Are all our rantings a lot of sound and fury, signifying nothing? Am I preaching to the choir? Can we change anything that's happened, that's still happening?

First, I should state that I believe in anarchy. Put aside your programmed, preconceived notions of what you think anarchy is. Anarchy is the absence of the State, not the absence of law and order. In understanding this, I recommend the works of Murray Rothbard, Ludwig von Mises, and Friedrich von Hayak (or just frequent mises.org - you'll thank me later).

The State, said Rothbard, is a gang of thieves writ large. Mention that we might try anarchy as a new direction and solution to the epic, multi-millenia failure of the State, and 99% of people would look at you like you have two heads. What's amusing about this is, anarchy has never been tried, just as Laissez Faire capitalism has never been tried, though it is a popular scapegoat among Statists on both the left and right side of the aisle.

Just as the money powers have discovered that control of a nation's economic system is far more effective than invasion by force of arms, so too must we discover that peaceful non-compliance is far more effective than armed rebellion. As I've heard it said, if you're fighting the system, you're still a slave to it. Fighting the system implies that the system has some power over you that you feel belongs to you that you want back. This is fallacy. The State has no power over you that you do not voluntarily forfeit to it. The power is and has always been with you, the free, sovereign citizen. All you need do is stand up, proclaim yourself sovereign and free, and that you do not recognize the tyranny that's been built around you, and, like the house of cards it is, the system collapses.

Some of you simply think the solution is to keep voting the bums out, until that mythical, never before seen and glorious day when we finally get politicians who represent the people, rather than themselves and the corporate interests who installed them to power. Good luck with that. The current Nazi-esque tyranny we find ourselves living under was achieved by the same means you would attempt to install a functioning republic. The definition of insanity, said a man named Einstein, is doing the same thing over and over again, expecting different results.

None are more helplessly enslaved than those who falsely believe they are free - Johann Wolfgang von Goethe

People can be made to perceive paradise as hell, and the other way round: to consider the most wretched sort of life as paradise. - Adolf Hitler

And yet, even with the endless list of failures attributed to the State, most people, bound by their programming, still will insist that we keep on keeping on, trying to perfect what is imperfectable. The State entails power, which, Lord Acton tells us, tends to corrupt; absolute power corrupts absolutely. We may very well hit the reset button, and start over with a very limited form of government, as we had at the Founding, but a piece of paper (a constitution) cannot, and never will, limit government power from feeding on more power, nibble by nibble, bite by bite, so that you don't notice your rights being eroded, and as time passes on, your rights have been eroded so carefully, so meticulously, that you don't remember what it was like to actually be free, and thus feel your present state of servitude is actually liberty - what David Icke calls the totalitarian tip-toe.

Jefferson himself had no problem with this, so long as the People were willing to take up arms against it on a regular basis. "God forbid we should ever be twenty years without such a rebellion," he said. "The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time, with the blood of patriots and tyrants." Sage as Jefferson was, I for one am uncomfortable with perpetual rebellion, an endlessly perpetuating cycle of enslavement and emancipation. It is all well and good for those lucky enough to be born on the timeline during freedom, but what of those who are forced, without their consent, as we are today, to live under the yolk of totalitarian slavery; to give of their property and their blood and their lives to shed this yolk? Surely this day is coming, but shouldn't we endeavor to halt the cycle, now, while the fire of liberty burns hot?

During the American Revolution, only 15% of the colonists supported independence, and only 5% actually participated. Extrapolated to today's population, and those numbers represent 45 million and 15 million, respectively. I submit that an even greater percentage are awake and would be willing to participate in a new revolution. But must it be armed? The police state control grid has been under construction for decades, and is near complete, if not already finished. Between the militarized, dumbed-down police forces, foreign nationals among our police and military, and the reversal of Posse Comitatus, as well as a web of FEMA detention camps spread across the country, they are ready to deal swiftly and cruelly with armed rebellion. This is not to say that they would prevail, only to point out that armed rebellion would be violent, bloody, and painful. I feel that it is also unnecessary.

And the taxpayer, not content with thus ruining political science, added insult to injury by damning all its chief ornaments as thieves, and by swearing that he would never let them rook him again. His bellow was now for the most rigid economy, and he swore that he would have it if the heavens fell. There was no holding him while the fit was on him. In many American cities public expenditures were actually reduced. - H.L. Mencken, "What is Going on in the World," American Mercury, Vol. 30, No. 119 (November 1933) pp. 259-260

For where does the State draw its support and funding from to pay for our own enslavement, to prepare for our inevitable rebellion? Funding and support comes from you. From me. From anyone who voluntarily supports Leviathan. You are conditioned to think that death and taxes are certain, but, while you can't escape death, taxes are indeed voluntary and the State is powerless to enforce their illegal theft so long as enough people refuse to cooperate with it.

During the Great Depression there was such a tax revolt. Not everyone participated in it but it was sufficient enough in numbers that the government was powerless to do anything about it. They could only hire people to go door to door begging - begging - people to pay their taxes. What a glorious example of the real power we, the People, have over even such a grotesque, power-bloated government. They begged them to pay their taxes. They didn't SWAT team their houses, shoot their dog, and throw them in jail. They begged them to allow the State to rob them. Let that sink in.

The biggest problem we have now is, particularly since the Great Depression, that spirit of self sovereignty has been gradually eroded away, so that most Americans not only feel that they must pay their taxes, even if such taxes are illegal, but that it is their lawful, patriotic duty to do so, and they are more than happy to do it - anyone who does not is a cheat and a scoundrel and un-American. Would that I had a dime for every person who got angry at me for telling them that not only was the State robbing them and their children of their wealth and prosperity, but that none of it was legal in the first place.

So while the cynic in me, with good reason, feels that inevitably the irate, tireless minority will choose to fight the system, thus enslaving themselves to it, I myself, right here, right now, declare my own independence. I am a free, sovereign individual, a country among my own self. I will provide for my life, liberty, and pursue my own happiness. I will provide my own healthcare, I will provide for my own "retirement", I will provide for my own defense and security, thank you very much. I hope others will do the same.

The only real revolution that will deliver true liberty is a revolution of consciousness. This revolution demands that you stop looking outward for leaders and saviors, and be your own leader, your own savior. Within your own mind lies simultaneously the problem and the solution to all your problems.

You must lead, but you must not allow anyone to follow you, except to encourage them to be their own leaders. And we must recognize the innate power we as a collective have, that no matter how powerful the State becomes, it can only function if the people grabs it by the heel and places it upon their own necks. This is the genius behind the scam, but also the beauty behind the solution: stop empowering it. Do not vote. Do not pay taxes. Do not join or allow anyone you know to join the military. Do not invest or spend your money in the mega-corporations, particularly the banks, which control our government. Become self-sufficient: get off the grid. Produce your own food, water, heat, and electricity. Arm yourself.

Simply stop cooperating, and see how mighty and powerful they are: watch them fall to their knees and beg you to be slaves. Walk away from them clasping at your feet.

Suicidal Nihilism

Anyone awakened and aware has the experience of dealing with those who are still plugged in, still asleep, and still full of delusions and indoctrination and falsehoods we are fed from the day we're born. Why are we different? Why can't they see what has now become so manifestly obvious to us?

I try to remember that not long ago I was like them: unconscious, reveling in ignorance and stupidity ... my reality defined by what Orwell termed doublethink:

To know and not to know, to be conscious of complete truthfulness while telling carefully constructed lies, to hold simultaneously two opinions which cancelled out, knowing them to be contradictory and believing in both of them, to use logic against logic, to repudiate morality while laying claim to it, to believe that democracy was impossible and that the Party was the guardian of democracy, to forget, whatever it was necessary to forget, then to draw it back into memory again at the moment when it was needed, and then promptly to forget it again, and above all, to apply the same process to the process itself -- that was the ultimate subtlety; consciously to induce unconsciousness, and then, once again, to become unconscious of the act of hypnosis you had just performed.

I often think about how lucky I am that there was something about me that broke free from the programming - what David Icke calls the five sense conspiracy. How does this absurd perception of reality manifest itself in the human consciousness? How have the elite, the social engineers, generated this willful stupidity and ignorance?

It makes it more difficult to see this when our minds are destroyed by the myriad neurotoxic additives of vaccines, sodium fluoride and thousands of toxic ingredients in our food. All of it numbs our ability to see what is ... like taking a can of black spray paint to your third eye. Then we are given a false sense of self, of reality, a totally false education, force-fed religion, and a buffet of distractions to keep our minds off what these criminals are doing to us. I understand why people are trapped. I don't understand how I broke free, but I am grateful.

Why do we put blind trust and faith in other people when it comes to our health and well-being, and, especially, the health and well-being of our children? In a previous article, I documented some of the mind control and indoctrination techniques and agendas of the elite which aim to turn us all into docile, weak, stupid, and mindless automatons, loyal and subservient to the state.

In another earlier report, I documented that one of the agendas of the elite, which we are programmed to worship and defend, is eugenics, of which this program of indoctrination is a central tenet of. In this report I will delve deeper into the methods employed by the elite to make us weak, stupid, and, in many cases, suicidal.

The umbrella that all other techniques of mind control and infliction of harm falls under is suicidal nihilism, defined as the philosophical doctrine suggesting the negation of one or more aspects of life or the world in general. What is almost the standard reaction anyone has when they're told something they eat or drink is toxic to them? Well, sure, but if x doesn't kill you, y will kill you, so what difference does it make? And based on my own experience, I would suppose that the majority of people would not want to live forever; life has little or no intrinsic value to them. Perhaps they feel that since death is inevitable, there is no point in prolonging their life - never mind that, even as the average lifespan is increasing, people are actually living shorter lives. I would certainly make the well-founded contention that if life expectancy is indeed increasing, the elite are displeased with this and are planning on reversing this trend very soon.

This disregard for our own lives is central to our programming, because if we could care less if we live or die, we won't care if they decide to facilitate our deaths, and, even when faced with the facts that they are in fact poisoning us, we will react with indifference at best, hostility at worst - but not hostility towards those responsible, no; Hostility towards the person making such a suggestion. It will never occur to them to look into, for instance, the history of fluoride, or question the scientific validity of the medical industry's sacred cash cow, vaccines. If we as a society do not value life - if we don't value our own lives and show passive regard for the lives of our children, then exerting total control over our lives will take little effort.

The amount of toxins we likely ingest on a daily basis is staggering. Their harmful effects are known to the establishment, yet not only are we not adequately warned about them, we are told they are safe. There are actually laws that allow food producers to add chemicals to our food - upwards of 17,000 of them - without telling us, because these additives are toxic and, were we to know they were in our food, it would affect the corporation's bottom line. Since they are not required to tell us what these additives are, I can only speak to what is known for fact. Without even scratching the surface, these are the worst, and their effects on the human mind and body.

Fluoride

Fluoride is by far the most pervasive toxin we are exposed to on a daily basis. A 2001 report from Scientific American stated that it is literally impossible to avoid overexposure to fluoride. Two-thirds of American municipalities dump it in their water, and thus, even if you do not drink tap water, or your water is not fluoridated, you can expect to find fluoride in your soda, beer, juice, sports drinks, vitamins, cold and flu medications, and pretty much any food product that is made with or contains water. This is to say nothing of our toothpastes and mouthwash.
"In the 1930's, Hitler and the German Nazis envisioned a world to be dominated and controlled by the Nazi philosophy of pan-Germanism. The German chemists worked out a very ingenious and far-reaching plan of mass control, which was submitted to, and adopted by, the German General Staff. This plan was to control the population in any given area through mass medication of drinking water supplies. By this method they could control the population in whole areas, reduce population by water medication that would induce sterility in women and so on. In this scheme of mass control sodium fluoride occupied a prominent place.

Repeated doses of infinitesimal amounts of fluoride will in time reduce an individual’s power to resist domination, by slowly poisoning and narcotizing a certain area of the brain, thus making him submissive to the will of those who wish to govern him. [A convenient light lobotomy]

The real reason behind water fluoridation is not to benefit children’s teeth. If this were the real reason there are many ways in which it could be done that are much easier, cheaper, and far more effective. The real purpose behind water fluoridation is to reduce the resistance of the masses to domination and control and loss of liberty. - Charles Perkins

Fluoridated water was first used in Hitler's death camps, because it lowers IQ and makes you docile and placid; relaxed. For this reason sodium fluoride is also found in Prozac. Given that the global power elite, many of whom are "Americans" (Rockefeller, Gates, Bush, Cold Spring Harbor, etc.), is married to the eugenics movement, and considering their cooperation and support of Hitler, it cannot be said that this was unknown to them when they decided to start fluoridating the water in America, or that their intent was not the same as Hitler's.

Sodium fluoride is a toxic industrial waste product from phosphate fertilizer, aluminum, and nuclear weapons manufacturing, among others. It is so toxic that it is illegal to dump in rivers or streams. Read this as many times as you deem necessary, before it registers in your brain; break through the programming and see it for what it is: THEY ARE DUMPING TOXIC WASTE INTO OUR WATER. Sodium fluoride is often the active toxin in rat poison and insecticides. And you're drinking it. More on your doctor and dentist later.

High Fructose Corn Syrup (HFCS)

Fat has 250 times more calories than sugar, yet even with this nutritional disadvantage, high fructose corn syrup is the number one source of calories in the United States. Fructose is much more readily metabolized to fat in the liver than glucose, and in the process can lead to nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD). NAFLD in turn leads to hepatic insulin resistance and type II diabetes. It increases your triglyceride and bad cholesterol (LDL) levels, whereas glucose does not. It harms the way primary organs like the liver and pancreas function, leading to bone loss, anemia and heart problems, just to name a few. And it has recently been discovered that HFCS is contaminated with mercury, which is as you know a violent neurotoxin.

The HFCS industry cites studies that claim it's no different than sugar, but all of these studies were funded by groups with a financial stake in HFCS - such as Pepsi. Like fluoride, HFCS is extremely prevalent in foods and beverages. It's found in soda, juice, breads, yogurt, frozen foods, salad dressings, ketchup, spaghetti sauce, and many other products. In fact by the time you're finished reading this, you may come to the same conclusion that I have: don't eat anything processed. But if you're not at that point yet, keep reading.

Monosodium glutamate (MSG)

MSG, or Monosodium Glutamate is an excitotoxin - a substance that over-excites brain cells to the point of damage and death. It is worse than alcohol, worse than nicotine, and worse than most illegal drugs.

MSG is toxic particularly in children whose blood-brain barrier have not yet fully developed; they are four times as sensitive to MSG as adults. This is disturbing considering MSG is found in most baby formulas. More on this in a moment.

In rats, MSG caused them to crave sugars and simple carbohydrates over protein-rich foods. This is because the pancreas is stimulated to produce insulin, which explains MSG's association with obesity and type 2 diabetes, regardless of caloric intake or activity. It causes retinal damage, insomnia, heart disease, and high blood pressure. It can cause arrhythmia and cardio artery spasm, leading to sudden cardiac arrest. In cancer, MSG dramatically promotes growth and metastasis. It causes cancer cells to become mobile, spreading more quickly from one part of the body to another. In the elderly, whose blood-brain barrier is weakened, the cumulative effects of MSG act as a "slow neurotoxin," not resulting in observable damage such as dementia immediately but only after long periods of exposure. There is practically no system of the body that is not damaged by MSG.

MSG is found in nearly any processed food, even those that don't specifically list MSG as an ingredient and claim to be natural. Some foods such as seaweed or tomatoes have complex amino acid groupings, which are bound (as opposed to free). When these groupings are autolyzed or hydrolyzed, the amino acids - glutamates - are released in an unnatural way, enhancing the flavor the same way MSG does, with the same toxic effects. Like the 17,000 chemicals food manufacturers can add without telling you to protect their bottom line, these are some of the dirty little tricks they play to keep you from knowing you're eating unnatural MSG. There are literally dozens of food additives that contain MSG, such as broth, casein, anything hydrolyzed or autolyzed, and many others. Soybean extracts are loaded with glutamate, in many cases higher than pure MSG; people who consume large amounts of soy products have high incidences of dementia and brain atrophy. All soy products should be avoided as if they were poison - they are.

Particularly in baby formula, unsuspecting parents will choose a brand believing there to be no MSG, as it is not listed on the label, not realizing that caseinate or hydrolyzed protein broth are really MSG; physiologically these children could be abnormal for the rest of their lives.

Aspartame

Of all the poisons the eugenicists have foisted onto the American people, only sodium fluoride tops aspartame (NutraSweet, Equal) in terms of pure evil. And I say this only because of sodium fluoride's Nazi history and the fact that it's a toxic industrial waste product that is too toxic to be dumped in rivers and streams, yet we have been fooled into accepting it's healthy to dump it in our drinking water. The story of how aspartame became a staple of the American diet is a long and disturbing one.

Aspartame, also an excitotoxin and an rDNA derivative, is made from two amino acids - L-phenylalanine, L-aspartic acid - and methanol. The amino acid content in aspartame allows for mouthpieces for this poison to call it "healthy" or "natural", ignoring the methanol found in it and what it does to the body when ingested.

But once upon a time, for eight years, aspartame was banned by the FDA. This would seem natural, having at the time only recently been found on a Pentagon list of biochemical warfare agents submitted to Congress. Take a moment to ingest that: aspartame is a biochemical warfare agent.

Aspartame saw a new day in the FDA court in the early 70's, but G.D. Searle, the company that produces it, faced serious ethical questions in its methodology and data used to prove its safety. The 1974 FDA task force set up to examine aspartame and G.D. Searle reported "serious deficiencies in Searle's operations and practices, which undermine the basis for reliance on Searle's integrity in conducting high quality animal research to accurately determine the toxic potential of its products." They concluded with the recommendation that G.D. Searle should face a Grand Jury "to identify more particularly the nature of the violations, and to identify all those responsible.

The final 1976 report noted serious and criminal misrepresentation and suppression of data in G.D. Searle's research. Desperate to suppress this information, G.D. Searle appointed Nixon and Ford administration operative Donald Rumsfeld its chairman. The FDA requested that U.S. Attorney Samuel Skinner investigate Searle's aspartame testing procedures. Skinner was the federal prosecutor responsible for convincing the Grand Jury to investigate Searle's criminal and fraudulent research. Skinner met with Searle attorneys at the Chicago law firm of Sidley & Austin. Suddenly, newly elected President Carter announced that Skinner would not remain in office, and Skinner thereafter announced that he would be hired by Sidley & Austin. The case was taken over by US Attorney William Conlon, who blatantly dragged his feet in prosecuting Searle. Failing in his duties, Conlon also joined Searle's law firm. The fix was in.

In 1981, Rumsfeld's boy at the FDA, Commissioner Arthur Hayes, approved the initial use of aspartame in dry foods and as a tabletop sweetener. Disregarded as anecdotal were the public's concerns, as well as 3 FDA scientists, regarding brain tumors, which every scientific study not funded by Searle showed were prevalent in long term aspartame exposure. Naturally, after resigning from the FDA Hayes under a cloud of conflicts of interest, was hired as senior medical consultant for the public relations firm retained by Searle.

After aspartame was approved for soft drinks in 1983, complaints of side effects poured in - headaches, dizziness, vomiting, nausea, blurred vision, seizures, convulsions, and more. Long-term aspartame ingestion can disturb the metabolism of amino acids, protein structure and metabolism, the integrity of nucleic acids, neuron function, and endocrine balances. The breakdown of aspartame causes nerves to fire excessively, which can indirectly lead to a high rate of neuron depolarization.

The harmful effects of aspartame are practically endless. When you ingest aspartame, it breaks down into its two constituent amino acids, and methanol.

Aspartame is 40% aspartic acid. When aspartic acid is consumed, it significantly raises the level of aspartate in your blood, which over-excites neurotransmitters in the brain, destroying neurons. Again, this is what is referred to by Dr Blaylock as excitotoxicity.

Aspartame is 50% phenylalanine. Excessive levels of this amino acid can decease serotonin levels in the brain, leading to depression. Again, the aspartame lobby would have you believe that the presence of amino acids in aspartame makes it natural and healthy, however, as we've seen, monosodium glutamate is also an amino acid; this has nothing to do with it being natural or healthy. It is neither.

The remaining 10% of aspartame is methanol, or wood alcohol. Not only is methanol poisonous by itself, when ingested it further breaks down into formaldehyde, a deadly neurotoxic carcinogen. Formaldehyde is embalming fluid. Methanol poisoning can cause visual impairment, including blindness; headaches, ear buzzing, and dizziness; nausea and gastrointestinal disturbances; weakness, numbness and shooting pains in the extremities; behavioral disturbances and memory lapses. Formaldehyde further breaks down into formic acid, which is also toxic and commonly used as an activator to strip epoxy and urethane coatings. Delicious!

Aspartame causes, mimics, or worsens the conditions of the following diseases:

  • Multiple sclerosis
  • Parkinson's Disease
  • Alzheimer's
  • Fibromyalgia
  • Arthritis
  • Multiple chemical sensitivity
  • Chronic fatigue syndrome
  • Attention deficit disorder
  • Panic disorder
  • Depression and other psychological disorders
  • Lupus
  • Diabetes and diabetic complications
  • Birth defects
  • Lymphoma
  • Lyme's Disease
  • Hypothyroidism

Aspartame, like MSG, is linked to obesity and diabetes, because it creates a craving for simple carbohydrates.

Dr Russell Blaylock, a leader in aspartame and MSG research who coined the term "excitotoxin", cites an Italian study in which animals were fed aspartame throughout their entire lives, and were studied until they died natural deaths. They found a dramatic increase in related cancers of lymphoma and leukemia, as well as several histological lymphomas of the brain. He continues:

When you look it up in the neurosurgical literature, there is a rather significant rise in the incidents of what used to be a rare tumor. We're seeing a lot more of the primary lymphoma of the brain, which is a little different than lymphomas you see elsewhere. When you look back at the original studies done by the G.D. Searle company, they found lymphomas as well as primary brain tumors and tumors of multiple organs. All of this correlation shows that we've got a powerful carcinogenic substance here. It is either acting as a co-carcinogen or a primary carcinogen. Most likely, it's the formaldehyde breakdown product.

What the Italian study found is that if you take these same animals and expose them to formaldehyde in the same doses, they developed the same leukemias and lymphomas. If you look back at the Troker Study conducted in Spain a couple of years ago, what they found was when they radiolabeled the aspartame, they could actually see formaldehyde binding to the DNA, and it produced both single and double strand DNA breakage.

We know that when formaldehyde binds to DNA, it's very difficult to remove it. It will stay there for long periods of time. What that means is if you just drink a single diet cola today, or sweeten something with NutraSweet, you're accumulating damage every day. Eventually, you're going to produce this necessary pattern of DNA damage to initiate the cancer, and once you develop the cancer, the aspartic acid component of aspartame will make the cancer grow very rapidly. You've got a double effect; it's causing the cancer, and it's making the cancer move very rapidly.

These were swept under the rug by the government, which blatantly and overtly lied and vouched for its safety. The FDA, true to its corporate shill form, declared that "no evidence has been found to establish that aspartame's methanol by-product reaches toxic levels." This of course is a lie, since, according to a Medical World News report in 1978, the methanol content of aspartame is 1,000 times greater than most foods under FDA control. Today aspartame is found in over 4,000 products worldwide and is consumed by over 200 million people in the United States alone.

Corporatism (Fascism) in Our Health Ministries

Benito Mussolini once said, "Fascism should more appropriately be called Corporatism because it is a merger of state and corporate power." Specifically, it is the control of the State by the corporation (whereas socialism is the reverse: the control of the corporation by the State). And this is what we see today in our government - for the purposes of this essay, the pharmaceutical, chemical, and agricultural mega-corporations (some corporations transcend all three) have usurped control of our health ministries, so that they are entrusted with watching over themselves. Obviously they will be looking out for their own bottom line, not the health and safety of the American people.

Some would say its hyper-cynical to say that corporations only look out for their own profits at the expense of the consumer. In a free market we would not have to worry about this, because independent studies on the safety of these products would show them to be harmful, and no one would buy them, forcing these corporations to either produce healthier products or go out of business. But when the FDA is staffed by lobbyists for, say, Monsanto, Monsanto doesn't have to worry about the safety of its genetically modified foods or its Roundup product these foods are designed to be sprayed with because the lobbyists for Monsanto working within the FDA will give themselves the FDA seal of approval. Who watches the watchmen? The watchmen.

Examine who funds such medical journals as the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition or College Nutrition, or major studies on food safety. Corporations like Bayer and Monsanto. Con Agra. Kraft. All major corporations responsible for infesting our foods with the toxins making us fat, sick, stupid and weak. You also see pharmaceutical giants like GlaxoSmithKline; I can imagine nothing that would please a pharmaceutical corporation more than widespread chronic illness. In fact, the pharmaceutical industry benefits greatly from the harmful additives in our food, and plays a major roll in facilitating their approval, use, and protection.

The US government and Monsanto has had a revolving door between its employees for decades. President Obama recently appointed former Monsanto lobbyist Michael Taylor as a senior adviser to the Food and Drug Administration Commissioner on food safety. Ann Veneman was on the Board of Directors of Monsanto's Calgene Corporation before becoming Secretary of Agriculture under George W Bush. Bush also appointed Monsanto executive Linda Fisher as deputy director of the EPA; Fisher worked for the EPA before becoming an executive at Monsanto. Revolving door. Former acting commissioner of the FDA under Clinton Michael Friedman became senior vice president for clinical affairs at G.D. Searle. William D. Ruckelshaus was the first commissioner of the EPA under Nixon, and spent 12 years on Monsanto's board of directors. Mickey Kantor served on Monsanto's board of directors before being tapped as Bill Clinton's Commerce Secretary. Clarence Thomas, Supreme Court Justice, is a former Monsanto lawyer presiding over a case that would completely deregulate Monsanto's GM seeds and allow them to contaminate the entire country. How will he rule? We'll see. Thomas certainly does not see what is clearly a conflict of interest. And, as discussed earlier, there is Rumsfeld, Conlon, and Skinner's scandalous connections to GD Searle and aspartame.

A Stacked Deck

Presented in this report is a two-fold threat to all of our health and well-being. First of course is the toxic and harmful products most Americans feed themselves and their children on a daily basis. This, along with vaccines, has a cumulative dumbing down effect; not only an erosion of the mind, but an erosion of the body. We are, collectively and in a compounding manner, becoming ever more stupid, fat, lazy and weak. Not only is this profitable to those who benefit from this - the food manufacturers who make more money as Americans become addicted to and eat more of their food, as well as the pharma giants who benefit from an engineered crisis of chronic illness - it is beneficial to those in power who wish to expand the size and scope of their power completely, totally, and utterly.

Second is the cover of protection these products receive from health and safety regulatory arms of government most Americans falsely believe are looking out for them. This makes it ever more difficult for even people like myself and those who are aware of the poison that passes for food, because not only does it severely restrict the choices we have in what we can eat, since harmful products are found in nearly all foods, including fresh produce, which could be genetically modified for all we know (the FDA says we do not have the right to know), but we cannot trust what is "certified" as organic, since the same regulatory arms of government responsible for such labeling are controlled by the same people who have driven many of us to eat organic in the first place.

What can be done? Unfortunately our choices are limited. As long as the masses believe and trust the State to be their lord and savior, it will be difficult to tear away the tentacles these corporations have around our government and our entire lives. We can educate people to these truths, but, speaking from experience, we can expect one of two reactions: either they will A> not want to know how harmful their food is, because they enjoy it too much. Most people have an intuition that what they're eating is killing them, or shortening their life (is there a difference?), but as long as they can pretend they don't really know what food is doing what to their body, they can be blissful in their ignorance. Or, B> they will dismiss your warnings as quackery, conspiracy theory kookiness, or the like. Part of the indoctrination we receive from birth is that, as Madeline Albright so aptly put it, "We are America; we are the indispensable nation." America doesn't poison or murder its own citizens; that's what other countries do. Our leaders may be liars or crooks, but there's a line they simply would never cross. Because they're Americans. The air here is different; or maybe there's something different about the soil or the water. Or, of course, we are simply sanctioned by the Creator. Rest easy. Your government is keeping you safe. This is the ultimate threat of a fascist government and economy: again, the watchmen are the ones watching the watchmen. There is no oversight; it's a corporate free-for-all.

So we must vote with our wallets and pocketbooks; we must, whenever possible, spend the extra money to buy real food. And, if possible, we must put forth the extra effort to grow our own food, from our own seeds, in our own soil, harvested by our own hands. That is the only way you'll ever know for sure your food is safe. That's the only way to keep yourself strong and healthy, to keep your mind sharp and clear. The Dream of Every Dictator

The ability to read minds, to identify dissidents. Naturally, this is the project of the Department of State Security, and its various fascist contractors. (H/T Lew Rockwell):

The gist of this is, we're going to slaughter civilians indiscriminately, and there's nothing anyone anywhere is going to do about it.

The Video That Will Put Geithner Behind Bars

We hope.

    Mike Whitney
    Alternet -

The NY Fed, and likely Geithner himself, undermined, perhaps even violated, laws designed to protect investors and markets.

You gotta see this! If this doesn't convince you that Timothy Geithner knew about the securities shenanigans that were going on at Lehman, than I don't know what will.

Keep in mind, that Geithner ran Lehman through 3 "stress tests" prior to bankruptcy; all of which Lehman failed, and yet, nothing was done. Anton R. Valukas--the examiner who wrote the 2,200 page investigative-report which was released on Thursday-- has provided plenty of information detailing Lehman's “materially misleading” accounting and “actionable balance sheet manipulation.”

In other words, they cooked the books.

Fed gets new oversight powers under Dodd bill

Dodd is going out with a bang, bestowing even more power upon the people responsible for getting us into this mess in the first place. But this is the nature of the Hegelian Dialectic: the solution to any problem is, always and forever, more money and power to those responsible. Hysterically, Reuters pretends that the Fed has made a remarkable recovery after a steep drop in its popularity, as if a bill introduced by a scumbag lame duck senator represents a boom in its public opinion, as Ron Paul's audit the Fed bill still makes its way through Congress. What fools they take us for. They're probably right.

    Reuters -

The Federal Reserve would win sweeping new powers over nonbank financial firms and keep much of its authority over banks, under revised legislation to be unveiled on Monday by the chief architect of financial reform in the Senate.

In a remarkable recovery by the U.S. central bank after a steep drop in its political popularity, Senate Banking Committee Chairman Christopher Dodd was poised to release a bill that leans heavily on the Fed, sources said on Sunday.

Not only would a new government watchdog for financial consumers be housed within the Fed, but it would also retain much of its present authority over large bank holding companies and gain new authority over selected nonbank financial firms.

Dodd's bill would give the Fed authority to supervise bank holding companies with more than $50 billion in assets, down from an earlier threshold of $100 billion, sources said.

The bill may also preserve the Fed's power over state-chartered banks with less than $50 billion in assets that are already in the Federal Reserve system, a source said. An earlier proposal had called for transferring responsibility for supervising such banks to the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp.

That would put hundred of banks under the Fed's purview, including such giants as Bank of America and Citigroup, as well as branches of foreign banks, a source said.

Vaccine Safety Appeal Goes to the Supreme Court

I don't expect this to end well, because our courts are not immune to corporate influence (Clarence Thomas is a former Monsanto lawyer - 'nuff said!). Regardless, I know that free thinking, intelligent people will never give up fighting against what is obvious: that vaccines are destroying the minds of our children, and that it's not only thimerisal/mercury that's responsible.

    Aaron Turpen
    NaturalNews -

On the first of March, the United States Supreme Court accepted the appeal of parents who say that vaccines can cause serious health problems. The case involves the parents of Hannah Bruesewitz of Pennsylvania and began in 1992, when the Congressional judicial forum for vaccine safety heard the case and denied it. Since then, the case has been threading its way through the courts.

At issue in this case, labeled Russel Bruesewitz, et al., Petitioners v. Wyeth Inc., fka Wyeth Laboratories, et al (09-152)1 or just Bruesewitz v. Wyeth Inc., is whether the vaccine case can be heard in civil courts outside of the Congressional forum.

Congress set up a special judicial forum in 1986 to address claims against vaccine makers outside of civil courts as a measure to protect those vaccine companies from frivolous lawsuits. Opponents of this special treatment argue that this effectively gives pharmaceutical companies legal immunity from the harm their products could be doing to individuals. Proponents of the judicial forum claim that it ensures a steady supply of vaccines without the impedance that court proceedings could put on them.

Hannah Bruesewitz was a healthy infant in 1992 when she was given a series of DPT shots (diphtheria, pertussis, and tetanus). After the third in the series, she began to have seizures and is now partially disabled as a teenager with residual seizure disorder.

The initial claim to the vaccine court by the Bruesewitz parents was that Wyeth had failed to warn parents of the risks associated with the DPT vaccines. Their claim was rejected by the vaccine court, but the family's lawyers found that if the harmful side effects were avoidable, they could appeal this in civil court, which they did. That case is now going to the Supreme Court.

Wyeth, now owned by Pfizer Inc., won the case in federal appeals court.2 The court concluded that the design-defect claims were barred under statute and could only be heard by the Congressional court. Pfizer, however, agreed with the Bruesewitz parents' appeal to the Supreme Court, hoping to have the case heard in the highest court in order to achieve a final resolution on the broader legal question of liability and the Congressional court's mandate itself.

At issue now is not just a question of whether legal liability is due to the Bruesewitz family, but also whether any other parents or families with children who've been victimized by vaccines can seek compensation outside of the Congressional buffer court itself. If Pfizer wins in the Supreme Court, this would likely make it nearly impossible for anyone to appeal a Congressional court decision against their claims. It would fundamentally change the legal process in regards to vaccine safety and liability.

The Fallacy of Thimerosal Removal & Autism Increase: A Failure of Science, A Bigger Failure to Children Worldwide

As usual, conflicts of interest abound in "scientific" studies. Based on these studies, the establishment and their media whores continue to tell you the debate is over.

    Age of Autism -

Readers of Age of Autism are aware of the term “the big hungry lie” coined by regular contributor J.B. Handley, used to describe the tactics of the CDC and the drug industry’s attempts to disassociate autism from vaccines in any way, shape, or form.

Perhaps the biggest lie of all is the one that has been repeated all too long, that after thimerosal was reduced or eliminated from vaccines, autism rates continued to go up. There have been multiple instances of this claim and each time it has been proven false, right up to the recent lie that after thimerosal was removed from vaccines in 2001, autism rates continue to increase. These two claims, the first that thimerosal was removed from vaccines, and the second that autism rates have not gone down as a result, continue to be used to justify the injection of thimerosal into pregnant women and children with flu shots. The claims have also been used to justify the immunization of children in developing countries with vaccines preserved with thimerosal. Sadly, neither claim is any more truthful than previous equally erroneous claims, the earliest of which originated from Scandinavia, then spread to Canada and most recently came out of California.

    Cold-Blooded Lies

The paper by Stehr-Green et al., for example, purported to study autism rates in Sweden after thimerosal removal in 1993, but only hospitalizations in relation to autism were analyzed. Anyone remotely familiar with autism knows that it is not the kind of condition for which one would typically go to a hospital for treatment.

In the same study were also analyses of autism rates in Denmark, which were even more flawed. Many here remember the infamous Danish studies published in 2003, which served as the primary basis for the IOM’s predetermined conclusion in 2004, that autism rates shot up after thimerosal removal in 1992. In reality what happened was the Danish were worried there was a connection between thimerosal and autism, and right after thimerosal was eliminated from all their vaccines, they rapidly changed their registration program to include a lot more children. Such an interpretation of these studies -- designed by the CDC, and conducted by Statens Serum Institut, the largest vaccine-manufacturer in Denmark -- that autism rates skyrocketed after thimerosal removal, can be regarded as little more than propaganda.

When SafeMinds reanalyzed the data of the latest Denmark study, Hviid et al., by applying the same standards of higher case ascertainment to children born before 1992, they found a prevalence of 1 in 500, compared to a prevalence of 1 in 1,500 ten years later, a 66% drop. Unfortunately, this would not be the last time the CDC would design such self-contradicting studies.

In Canada, Eric Fombonne, a psychiatrist with ties to Sanofi-Pasteur, who is not even an epidemiologist, conducted his own combined thimerosal-MMR study on a school district in Montreal, and it was a total failure. His claim that autism rates went up after thimerosal was removed rested entirely on the Kindergarten cohort, for which enrollment was optional, so only about half the kids out of the total enrolled. However, all the children with autism enrolled because the school provides many services to autistic children. In fact, the school district Fombonne studied has an autism center for excellence, and even draws children with autism from other districts. Had enrollment been mandatory, the estimated prevalence would have dropped by one-half, indicating a decrease rather than an increase. According to biochemist Dr. Paul G. King, this is what is called “negative enrollment bias.” Furthermore, there was also thimerosal exposure during the years where exposure was labeled “nil.”

His MMR data were no more reliable. Instead of using local MMR immunization rates to compare to autism rates, he used immunization data from Quebec City, 145 miles away. Even though the Cochrane Collaboration had this to say about his previous MMR study from 2001, "The number and possible impact of biases was so high that interpretation of the results was difficult," and even though the collaboration included a person who also acted as a legal consultant to MMR manufacturers, such discrediting apparently has not stopped Fombonne from doing more completely flawed, post-marketing research.

But back to thimerosal, because just two years ago, Robert Schechter and Judith Grether of the California Department of Public Health accessed the records of the California Database for Evaluation and Research (CDER) of the California Department of Developmental Services in children ages 3-5. The purpose was to see if autism rates had declined after the supposed removal of thimerosal from vaccines. According to Schecter and Grether's analysis, they hadn’t. Using their interpretation, the two researchers determined that thimerosal must not be a primary cause of autism, in a study published in the Archives of General Psychiatry entitled “Continuing Increases in Autism Reported to California’s Developmental Services System: Mercury in Retrograde.” However, their own errors, it now appears, contradicted their conclusions.

Farm groups call on U.S. to "bust up big ag"

I wish them well, but unfortunately our government is infiltrated by Big Agra as well as Monsanto and Dow and the big chemical companies that genetically modify our food, and establishment politicians, like Chambliss and Roberts, are in their pockets. The only people who can "bust up big ag" is you, when you stop buying their products.

    Reuters -

A coalition of family farmers, consumers and other critics of corporate agriculture on Thursday called on the U.S. government to crack down on what they see as unfair consolidation of the nation's food system into the hands of a few multinationals.

Chanting "bust up big ag," a group of more than 250 packed a town hall meeting in the top corn-growing state of Iowa to rally support ahead of a Justice Department meeting on Friday aimed at scrutinizing concentration in the seed business.

The Justice Department and the U.S. Department of Agriculture are holding a meeting Friday in Ankeny to look at the "competitive dynamics in the seed industry." U.S. Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack and Christine Varney, the Justice Department's assistant attorney general for antitrust, are slated to attend.

The meeting in Ankeny is the first ever of its kind and is slated as the first in a series of five such gatherings planned by federal officials to gather input on concentration in the poultry, dairy and livestock industries.

While corporate giants like Wal-mart and Cargill are among the companies facing attack from the farm and consumer groups, the events in Iowa this week are largely targeted at global biotech seed leader Monsanto Co.. The Justice Department and several state attorneys general are probing allegations that Monsanto controls the U.S. commercial seed market via unfair, and in some cases illegal, practices.

"This monopolistic system is rigged against family farmers," said George Naylor, and Iowa corn and soybean farmer who said he struggles to find seed to plant that is not controlled by Monsanto.

Monsanto critics say the company, which develops, licenses and markets genetically altered corn, soybeans and other crops, manipulates the seed market by buying up independent seed companies, patenting seed products and then spiking prices.

Monsanto's Roundup Ready seed traits, which are genetically engineered to resist Monsanto's Roundup herbicide, are embedded in the majority of all soybeans and corn grown in the United States, a penetration level that helped Monsanto post net income of $2.1 billion for 2009.

The farm groups said they hope the attention by the Justice Department will spur policy moves in Washington, chiefly a change that would eliminate the ability of companies like Monsanto to patent seed germplasm, and re-establish farmer rights to save seed from their harvested crops and replant it.

"The crops that we grow are the basis of our civilization. If anything belongs in the public domain it is the crops we grow for food," said Dakota Resource Council member and farmer Todd Leake. "They claim that they own them. That is not right. We need to turn that back."

Monsanto has said its technology helps farmers and that their broad licensing of their technology to other companies helps ensure competition is "alive and flourishing."

On Wednesday, U.S. Senators Saxby Chambliss of Georgia and Pat Roberts of Kansas, both Republicans, weighed in on the issue, cautioning that a U.S. probe might lead to market intervention that could "stifle innovation."

"Any new activity proposed must avoid the unintended consequence of chilling innovation, investment or job creation in American agriculture," the senators said in letters sent Wednesday to Vilsack and Holder.

Precrime Arrest: the “Proactive Approach”

Karen DeCoster
LRC Blog -

In Oregon, a disgruntled government employee who was placed on leave was arrested for legally buying guns. He was taken into custody by a team of SWAT soldiers wearing the standard military garb, and he was sent in for a mental health evaluation. The arrest was justified by “concern” on the part of the Oregon police state. In fact, they were “extremely concerned” the man might retaliate against his government employers. Again, the “concern ” was reason enough for arrest and a mental evaluation.

Brain scan can read people’s thoughts: researchers

Some say the Chile earthquake slowed the rotation of the Earth down, but in reality it was Orwell spinning his his grave.

    Raw Story -

A scan of brain activity can effectively read a person's mind, researchers said Thursday.

British scientists from University College London found they could differentiate brain activity linked to different memories and thereby identify thought patterns by using functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI).

The evidence suggests researchers can tell which memory of a past event a person is recalling from the pattern of their brain activity alone.

"We've been able to look at brain activity for a specific episodic memory -- to look at actual memory traces," said senior author of the study, Eleanor Maguire.

"We found that our memories are definitely represented in the hippocampus. Now that we've seen where they are, we have an opportunity to understand how memories are stored and how they may change through time."

Victory over Codex: McCain drops supplement bill

We won this battle. The war wages on. Who knows what the result of our opposition to this bill would've been had McCain not been dogged down in a heated primary fight for his political life. Do not sleep.

    The Daily Bell -

McCain Abandons Dietary Supplement Regulation Bill ... Arizona Sen. John McCain (left) has abandoned his own bill that would have increased federal regulations on dietary supplements. Sen. Orin Hatch, R-Utah, who has long been a champion of supplements, urged his fellow senator to withdraw his support from bill S. 3002 that would have required all manufacturers of dietary supplements to register with the Food and Drug Administration and provide a list of their products and ingredients. In addition, the bill would have made it much easier for the FDA to recall dietary supplements. Experts believed it would also drastically limit their availability to consumers. – Newsmax

Dominant Social Theme: A concerned senator rethinks.

Free-Market Analysis: Is there any elite dominant social theme that John McCain doesn't want to support? During the waning regime of George W. Bush, he came out in favor of flooding the United States with workers from Mexico – and its corollary which was building a transnational highway to connect Mexico and Canada, thus cutting the US in half. He always supports the US military-industrial promotion of endless war for endless peace around the world. He is for endlessly higher taxes to support an endlessly higher deficit. He backs the current central banking regime, is yet a proponent of global warming, and most recently he came out in favor of further regulating America's dietary supplement industry.

But now, without fanfare, McCain appears to have backed off from his support of the elite promotion du jour – banning supplements to benefit Big Pharma. The thrust of the article, excerpted above, is that he was talked out of promoting his bill by Senator Orin Hatch - a slightly odd turn of events since Hatch is no radical opponent of elite methodologies himself. In fact, according to the Newsmax article, "Hatch, who helped create the current rules on supplements, believes new rules aren't necessary. He is working on a bill that would help the FDA enforce the 1994 supplement law that already exists."

But apparently nutritional supplements are a big business in Utah, so Hatch may be sincere in his efforts to help the industry avoid further damaging regulatory attacks. In any event, McCain's pullback is worthy of mention because it marks yet another high-profile climb-down from an elite promotion. One of the dominant social themes of the elite is certainly the efficacy of Western (barber-shop evolved) surgical medicine. Other forms of health care including acupuncture, homeopathy and especially nutrition and vitamin therapy are to be marginalized if not demonized on an ongoing basis and hopefully regulated out of existence. (Those who suggest that the ever-growing application of vaccines at an early age are possibly detrimental are to be marginalized as well, if not vilified.)

A wealth of unnecessary and petty [regulations] here engenders a whole army of clerks, each of whom carries out his task with a degree of pedantry and inflexibility, and a self-important air solely designed to add significance to the least significant employment. He refrains from speaking, but you can see him thinking, more or less: "Make way for me; I am a cog in the mighty machine of state."

~ Astolphe Louis Leonor, the Marquis de Custine, Empire of the Czar: A Journey Through Eternal Russia (1839)

"If I’m the bad guy to the average citizen … and their taxes have to go up to cover my raise, I’m very sorry about that, but I have to look out for myself and my membership," grunted Chris Mesley, president of the Albany, New York Police Officer's Union. "As the president of the `local,' I will not accept `zeroes' [no increase in salaries or benefits]. If that means ... ticking off some taxpayers, then so be it."

It would be difficult to find a more candid expression of the parasite class's predatory contempt for the productive than the words that departed Mesley's snout. The police union capo will occasionally remove that appendage from the public trough just long enough to spew demands for an ever-larger share of the wealth produced through the honest labor of others, or to justify some corrupt privilege he claims as a "cog in the mighty machine of state." In all of this he is entirely typical of the army of public employees pillaging what little remains of America's wealth.

A brave resident of Albany who identified himself as "Justin" pointed out in an admirably confrontational speech to that city's Common Council that the city's median annual household income in 2009 was about $33,000. In the same year, Mesley – who was hired as a patrol officer in 1992 – received a base salary of $70,289, while also scarfing down at least another $30,000 for serving as union president.

"Chris Mesley is making three times or more the median salary and is complaining that he might not get a raise," Justin observed. "The sense of entitlement of Chris Mesley and all those who think alike has led to the pilfering of state and city coffers. They are like leeches, sucking the taxpayers dry, and that's an insult to leeches. At least leeches know when to let go."

The implacability of Mesley's union is made vivid in the fact that its recently expired contract granted "retroactive raises" of four percent for both 2008 and 2009 – years during which private sector employment declined and raises were scarce, at best, for those in the productive class.

Study: Law officers home from war ‘quicker to use force’

This is a prime example of why we had Posse Comitatus in this country, and this is an example of how a police state ran and end-round around it: militarized law enforcement. Not only is the Federal government training police in military tactics and supplying them with military surplus hardware - assault rifles, armored personnel carriers, etc - but they are putting an impetus on hiring combat veterans (see here, here, here, and here).

Soldiers have a completely different mentality than officers of the peace. Your local policeman is there, theoretically, to protect and serve you. But now that our police forces are increasingly being usurped by the Defense Department, our police are becoming soldiers of occupation who treat the citizenry like an armed insurgency.

    Raw Story -

Many law enforcement officers called up to fight in Iraq and Afghanistan are finding it difficult to readjust to their jobs once home, bringing back heightened survival instincts that may make them quicker to use force and showing less patience toward the people they serve.

In interviews with The Associated Press and in dozens of anecdotes compiled in a survey by the International Association of Chiefs of Police and the U.S. Bureau of Justice Assistance, officers described feeling compelled to use tactics they employed in war zones after they returned to work in the U.S.

One officer said he felt compelled to fire his gun in the air to disperse an unruly crowd in California. Others said they felt wary about being flanked when working crowd control. And others said after seeing the hardships ordinary Afghans and Iraqis lived with, it's hard to care about complaints over pet droppings.

The report, which was issued late last year, warns that the blurring of the line between combat and confrontations with criminal suspects at home may result in "inappropriate decisions and actions — particularly in the use of ... force. This similarity ... could result in injury or death to an innocent civilian."

Scientists reveal negative impact of Roundup Ready GM crops

E Huff
NaturalNews -

Five studies published in the October 2009 issue of The European Journal of Agronomy reveal the negative impacts of using Monsanto's Roundup herbicide, a formula developed specifically for the company's line of genetically modified (GM) "Roundup Ready" crops. The papers, which were not released in the United States, offer a solid indictment against GM crops and the plight of using the Roundup herbicide.

Robert Kremer, a microbiologist with the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Agricultural Research Service, co-authored one of the five papers and offered insight into their premise during an interview with The Organic & Non-GMO Report, a monthly newsletter that offers recourse in addressing the challenges of fighting GM foods.

Kremer and his colleagues began studying the effects of Roundup on soil back in 1997. They found that the herbicide was causing an increase in parasitic colonization at the roots of Roundup Ready soybeans and corn. They also observed an increase in fungal growth that leads to sudden death syndrome (SDS) in the plants.

Glyphosate, the active ingredient in Roundup, is systemically changing the soil composition in the fields where it is used, leeching from plant roots into the ground. It is also disrupting the normal microorganism balance on plants and in soil, spurring the growth of harmful bacterial colonies that are destroying the beneficial ones.

According to Kremer, the most apparent disruption by glyphosate is observed in rhizobia, a type of bacterium that fixes nitrogen in the soil. Glyphosate's toxicity inhibits rhizobia from enriching soil with nitrogen, preventing plants from receiving this necessary element.

Despite claims to the contrary, Roundup can deeply penetrate soil and threaten groundwater supplies with contamination. Depending on a particular soil's composition, glyphosate can leech rather quickly into soil and potentially run off into nearby streams and rivers.

The Roundup system has also caused a significant increase in aggressive "super" weeds that are resistant to glyphosate. These weeds have been popping up in fields all over the country where GM Roundup Ready crops are grown, growing increasingly more virulent every year. Genetic engineers continue to develop stronger herbicides to combat them but the weeds keep getting stronger and more resistant.

Genetic modification of food crops is not only unsustainable but it threatens to unhinge the entire agricultural system. Roundup and other herbicides are altering and destroying soil nutrients, beneficial microbes, and other delicate components necessary to grow food.

While many farmers are interested in moving away from using GM crops in favor of more organic methods, it is often difficult for many of them to make the conversion.

How the War on Drugs Gave Birth to a Permanent American Undercaste

In the "era of colorblindness" there's a nearly fanatical desire to cling to the myth that we as a nation have "moved beyond" race. We haven't.

Michelle Alexander
TomDispatch.com -

Ever since Barack Obama lifted his right hand and took his oath of office, pledging to serve the United States as its 44th president, ordinary people and their leaders around the globe have been celebrating our nation’s “triumph over race.” Obama’s election has been touted as the final nail in the coffin of Jim Crow, the bookend placed on the history of racial caste in America.

Obama’s mere presence in the Oval Office is offered as proof that “the land of the free” has finally made good on its promise of equality. There’s an implicit yet undeniable message embedded in his appearance on the world stage: this is what freedom looks like; this is what democracy can do for you. If you are poor, marginalized, or relegated to an inferior caste, there is hope for you. Trust us. Trust our rules, laws, customs, and wars. You, too, can get to the promised land.

Perhaps greater lies have been told in the past century, but they can be counted on one hand. Racial caste is alive and well in America.

Most people don’t like it when I say this. It makes them angry. In the “era of colorblindness” there’s a nearly fanatical desire to cling to the myth that we as a nation have “moved beyond” race. Here are a few facts that run counter to that triumphant racial narrative:

*There are more African Americans under correctional control today -- in prison or jail, on probation or parole -- than were enslaved in 1850, a decade before the Civil War began.

*As of 2004, more African American men were disenfranchised (due to felon disenfranchisement laws) than in 1870, the year the Fifteenth Amendment was ratified, prohibiting laws that explicitly deny the right to vote on the basis of race.

* A black child born today is less likely to be raised by both parents than a black child born during slavery. The recent disintegration of the African American family is due in large part to the mass imprisonment of black fathers.

*If you take into account prisoners, a large majority of African American men in some urban areas have been labeled felons for life. (In the Chicago area, the figure is nearly 80%.) These men are part of a growing undercaste -- not class, caste -- permanently relegated, by law, to a second-class status. They can be denied the right to vote, automatically excluded from juries, and legally discriminated against in employment, housing, access to education, and public benefits, much as their grandparents and great-grandparents were during the Jim Crow era.

Marjah: The Non-Existent City the Military Said We Conquered in Afghanistan

What's this? The government is lying and exposing us to propaganda?!

*stands back in amazement*

No way.

    Alternet -

Marjah isn't even a town, but rather one of the clearest and most dramatic examples of a war of perception as outlined in the US's counter-insurgency doctrine.

For weeks, the United States public followed the biggest offensive of the Afghanistan war against what it was told was a "city of 80,000 people" as well as the logistical hub of the Taliban in that part of Helmand. That idea was a central element in the overall impression built up in February that Marjah was a major strategic objective, more important than other district centers in Helmand.

It turns out, however, that the picture of Marjah presented by military officials and reported by major news media is one of the clearest and most dramatic pieces of misinformation of the entire war, apparently aimed at hyping the offensive as an historic turning point in the conflict.

Marjah is not a city or even a real town, but a few clusters of farmers' homes amid a large agricultural area that covers much of the southern Helmand River Valley.

"It's not urban at all," an official of the International Security Assistance Force (ISAF), who asked not to be identified, admitted to Inter Press Service (IPS) on Sunday. He called Marjah a "rural community".

"It's a collection of village farms, with typical family compounds," said the official, adding that the homes were reasonably prosperous by Afghan standards.

The 5 Stages of The American Empire Collapse

MyLoansConsolidated -

Most great nations, at the peak of their economic power, become arrogant and wage great world wars at great cost, wasting vast resources, taking on huge debt, and ultimately burning themselves out.
~ Kevin Phillips, Wealth and Democracy, 2002

An English-born American artist who is regarded as the founder of the Hudson River School created a series of paintings he named The Course of Empires between 1833-1836. Thomas Cole’s paintings depicts the growth and fall of a city and is notable of reflecting today’s popular views about America, being on the way of an inevitable destruction. The painting series consists of 5 stages of the rise and fall of the empire.

Stage 1 – The Savage State

The first paintings reflects the savage land of the native Americans discovered by Columbus in 1492.

Looking at the first painting, you see the three decades of exploring the wild and expanding throughout the whole new continent – the whole new world.

During the 300 years of exploring and expanding the new world, in Europe Mayer Amschel Rothschild designs plans for the creation of the Illuminati and then entrusts an Ashkenazi Jew (Jews originating from Khazaria, who became Jews not by descent but by conversion of faith in 700AD) to lead the new occult: Adam Weishaupt, a German Jew who was outwardly Catholic. In 1774 the Illuminati was born in Germany, known as the Bavarian Illuminati and Adam Weishaupt was initiated into Freemason and began to implement the Illuminati masterplan for a new world order in a newly discovered land, America.

Illuminati was founded in America on May 1st, 1776. Two months later, the American Empire was born.

Stage 2 – The Arcadian or Pastoral State

The second painting shows how the inhabitants of the city cleared up the land, planted fields, and built a Greek temple. When Thomas Cole was painting this the President of the United States was Thomas Jefferson who just recently finished building the University of Virginia using classical Greek and Roman Architecture.

Looking at this picture imagine the beginning of the rise of the empire but also the collapse when the Rothschild gained control over the money supply of a nation. In 1790 Mayer Amschel Rothschild stated,

Let me issue and control a nation’s money and I care not who writes the laws.

A year later, the first central bank of America was founded whose money supply was controlled by Mayer Amschel Rothschild, the First Bank of The United States.

Stage 3 – The Consummation of Empire

The third painting showed a glorious city. The landscape is covered by a magnificent marble trading center. In the life cycle it is only midday. The overall look of the painting suggests the glorious peak of ancient Rome.

This is the time when the industrial revolution began and the groundwork for the modern US industrial economy was laid, just after the Civil War. A rapid economic development followed and an explosion of new discoveries and inventions took place. Coal was found in abundance, oil was discovered, large iron mines were opened.

During these times it was an epoch of the nations economic tycoons. This was the peak of the nations power, affluence and glory where leaders arose, ran about frenzied with imperial visions and sabotage themselves, their people and their nation. Although they had it all, more was never enough. Greed, arrogance and thirst of power consumed them.

According to Gerald Celente, there are only 6 words to wrap up the people behind the rise of the Empire, the consummation and the death of it later on: Princeton, Harvard, Yale, bullets, bombs and banks – the few elites that are running the Empire and leading the people into their own death.

Stage 4 – The Destruction of Empire

The fourth painting shows the action of the sack and destruction of the empire. The American Empire is currently on the way to this stage. Partly thanks to the Federal Reserve, with all the debts and deficit that it is facing, the coming destruction is inevitable.

In the book The War of the World, Niall Ferguson explains about the destruction in the 21st century as “the bloodiest in history, one hundred years of butchery.”

Besides the financial collapse, the American Empire will also experience collapse in unity. Back in Jan 2009, a Russian professor predicts the US disintegration by 2010. He said around end of June or July 2010 the US will break into 6 pieces with Alaska reverting to Russian control. Many thought of it as being the “music to the ears of the Kremlin” but the fact is that the CNN and Fox News just do not tell the world that the Russian professor’s prediction may come true as a growing number of states are already declaring sovereignty!

Too many Americans may not believe this but click on each state below to read yourself the declaration of sovereignty by each respective state: Washington, New Hampshire, Arizona, Montana, Michigan, Missouri, Oklahoma, California and Georgia.

Prof. Panarin predicted a Civil War after the disintegration of America, thus bringing the Empire into a stage that is “a far bloodier return to savagery” as suggested by relentless high-tech news cycle. Adding to Panarin’s prediction, if it really happens, Obama’s administration will end in violence. There will be no more US Presidential election in 2012. Extreme poverty, famine, and crime rates high will spread all over what is once a great nation. The destruction of American Empire will be there.

Stage 5 – Desolation

The final painting shows the moon rising over a desolate place. No living beings are seen. The once great city has been abandoned, the remains of their architecture is buried under mantle of trees, ivy and other overgrowth.

The final end of the Empire will be complete desolation. Whoever can leave before this all happens shall leave and never return. Just like the Jews in Europe fled to Canada and America before the Holocaust and never returned. The land will be left and will return into wilderness as it is written in the Book of Lamentations.

How deserted lies the city,
once so full of people!
How like a widow is she,
who once was great among the nations!
She who was queen among the provinces
has now become a slave.
(Lamentations 1:1)
