Govt will need to help shape U.S. media: Waxman

The government already controls the media. This is no secret, and is likely one of the primary reasons nobody's watching or reading anymore. Because despite their dumbing us down with their drugs, with their indoctrination through state-run education, the blitzkrieg of tabloid distractions we're bombarded with on a daily basis, people can still tell when they're being lied to, even if they don't realize it on a conscious level.

This is why the government is desperate to shut the internet down, because while the alternative media exists, they can propagate as many lies as they want in the MSM and people will eventually find the truth. Once the internet is gone, and the government takes more and more control of the media, our entire reality will be defined by lies. Orwell's nightmare will be realized.
