Algore buys ocean-front mansion

Algore doesn't seem much worried about his carbon footprint - everybody knows about his 20-room, energy-devouring mansion in Tennessee. But it doesn't seem Algore is much worried about rising sea levels he's been predicting for years, either. Otherwise he wouldn't buy a $9Million mansion on the coast of California.

    Los Angeles Times -

Former Vice President Al Gore and his wife, Tipper, have added a Montecito-area property to their real estate holdings, reports the Montecito Journal.

The couple spent $8,875,000 on an ocean-view villa on 1.5 acres with a swimming pool, spa and fountains, a real estate source familiar with the deal confirms. The Italian-style house has six fireplaces, five bedrooms and nine bathrooms.

  1. story says. "with an ocean view" doesn't say it's actually located on the shoreline/beach.

  2. story says, "an ocean-view villa" nothing about it actually being on the beach. it may be on the beach, or it may not, the article does not make that clear, but the unnamed author tries to make the ASSumption by innuendo.
