If you've really been paying attention, you were already aware of it. Now it's mainstream news, and nobody can deny it. This is, by any definition, along with threatening with impending death, torture. It's time for all you false patriots to man up, look in the mirror, and decide what kind of country you want to live in. And you say, whatever, they're only terrorists, but if you lose your rights for being a terrorist, what happens when the government labels YOU a terrorist, and you lose all YOUR rights? Think it can't happen? That's what the Germans thought when they elected Hitler.
Associated Press -A newly declassified CIA report says interrogators threatened to kill the children of a Sept. 11 suspect. The document, released Monday by the Justice Department, says one interrogator said a colleague had told Khalid Sheikh Mohammed that if any other attacks happened in the United States, "We're going to kill your children."
Another interrogator allegedly tried to convince a different terror suspect detainee that his mother would be sexually assaulted in front of him—though the interrogator in question denied making such a threat.
The report, written in 2004, examined CIA treatment of terror detainees following the terror attacks of Sept. 11, 2001. It has been declassified as part of a lawsuit brought by the American Civil Liberties Union.
