Higher jobless rates could be new normal

Without any doubt, this is mind control. This is intended to lull you back to sleep, and discourage you from investigating the causes of this calamity, which has nothing to do with capitalism run amok - nothing to do with "capitalism" at all, since what we have doesn't even remotely resemble capitalism. It can never be known that this crisis is the fault of the government, much less that it was an engineered collapse designed as a means for the banksters to continue to consolidate their power and increase our dependency on them, so they have greater control over our lives. So take a deep breath, shrug your shoulders, and content yourselves with your fate: being poor, starving, and dependent is just the way it's going to be from now on. Nothing you can do. Slavery is a perfectly normal state for humans to be in. Accept it, embrace it, love it.

    Associated Press -

WASHINGTON – Even with an economic revival, many U.S. jobs lost during the recession may be gone forever and a weak employment market could linger for years.

That could add up to a "new normal" of higher joblessness and lower standards of living for many Americans, some economists are suggesting.

The words "it's different this time" are always suspect. But economists and policy makers say the job-creating dynamics of previous recoveries can't be counted on now.
