Americans don't know why we celebrate 4th of July

You hear talk all the time about a new awakening, a new consciousness, a return to liberty and freedom, the Spirit of '76, etc. I'm sorry, but I just don't see it. Most people are just as retarded as ever, even in the face of all the calamities afflicting us.
